On November 28, Xiangmi Lake Financial Risk Management Annual Conference 2020 was held at SUSTech. In the conference, Shenzhen Association of Chief Risk Officer was founded. Over 800 heads of governments and enterprises, SUSTech faculty and students attended the convention. The convention was live-streamed, with over 45,000 people watching it online.
Under the guidance of Shenzhen?Municipal?Financial Regulatory Bureau, Shenzhen Central Sub-branch of the People’s Bank of China, Shenzhen Office of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, Shenzhen Office of China Securities Regulatory Commission and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the convention was sponsored by SUSTech, Ping?An?Insurance?Group, and Shenzhen Financial Stability?and Development?Institute. It was held to echo the 40th anniversary of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, with an aim of gathering the strength of governments, enterprises, and universities to prevent the main financial risks. ?
University?Council?Vice?Chairperson?Fengliang LI introduced the progress made by SUSTech in financial personnel training and financial risk research. He said that SUSTech hopes to cooperate with governments and enterprises for win-win development.
Then the founding ceremony of Shenzhen Alliance of Chief Risk Officer was held. Chairman of the board of Shenzhen Financial Stability?and Development?Institute introduced the background and main functions of the alliance. He said the alliance would take the responsibilities of serving the real economy, preventing financial risks, and deepening financial reform. ?
